The results from the Northern Ontario Championships have finally been posted. As for the Puller of the Year races, Shea Dickie has a 6 point lead going into the Provincial Championships. The only people who can mathematically pass him are Al Aubin and Bill Cameron. However, it looks like Shea may win for the second year in a row. Laura Cook has secured the title of Female Puller of the Year with her 32 points. She also won this race last year. Way to go Laura! www.ontarioarmwrestling.com/puller_of_the_year_standings09.htmlTeeswater Thunder has a commanding 54 point lead in the Team of the Year race. Although it is technically possible for another team to win this race, it looks likely that Teeswater Thunder will win the Team of the Year race for the third year in a row. www.ontarioarmwrestling.com/team_standings09.htmlWestern Ontario pullers have won more points than almost every other region combined. They have secured the title of Ontario's Strongest Armwrestling Region. www.ontarioarmwrestling.com/region_standings09.html

I got a second and a third place. Dan got first and a second place at the coac. That means 17 points plus whatever bonuses. I still don't see my name or Dan's name for individual points.

Allen Ford is a member of the High Hookers. The only Sudbury team member who is a registered OAA member for the 2009-2010 season is Brian Desormeaux. Memberships for the 2010-2011 season will need to be purchased by all who attend the Provincials on July 10th.

Well it doesn't matter this year since I wouldn't be in the running anyways but I'll be at the provincials this year. How much is it now for the membership and do you need it to participate at the provincials?

Still $20 for the membership. Everyone who competes at the Provincials must renew. Anyone who doesn't attend Provincials can purchase a membership at any of the circuit sanctioned events (i.e. Eastern, Western, Central, Southern, and Northern Championships).

I will not be able to make Maksim's event. However every one will need to purchase a membership at the Provincials, so there's no need to purchase one before then.
