On October 23, 2010 I will be hosting a round robin of some of the top names in the women's 143lbs class. This will be contested with both right and left arms. There may also be a possibility of a double round robin depending on how many ladies I can confirm. That will mean that each competitor will have to pull each competitor twice if it is a double round robin.
I have asked 8 women to participate. Two of them have declined due to personal reasons and six have said by contact with me that they were very interested. The three that have confirmed are as of now.
Heidi Andersson
Sarah Backman
Barb Schlegel (Zalepa)
As I have confirmation I will keep adding the names. I would like to say that I am honored that these ladies will compete at my event.

Laura Cook is now confirmed. I am just waiting for a few of the others to give me confirmation and I will post the whole class for the round robin.

This event will be held in Woodstock. Upon the completion of the round robin I will be holding a tournament with the sanctioned weight classes. Once I can get the confirmation from the other competitors that I have asked I will announce all of the information.

Margie Ciaccio and Sandra Rødland have now confirmed their participation in the round robin. Sandra may have a prior commitment that may have to pull her out but until then she is in.
I am very pumped. This is going to be awesome.

Resurrecting this puppy! Is anyone one else not stoked about this event! This is huge and I personally cannot wait to see the outcome. There could be so many variables that can play out it may be the upset of the century. Cannot wait!! Kudos Mark for putting this together! OCT 23

I'm Super excited!!!! Been holding 156-157 quite easily since the Murray Park. Im stoaked to pull 154 at this tourny and see the Women competition!!!! Gonna be a good day

I cannot believe how quiet this board has gotten?  This tournament is the bomb and hardly a peep. Man am I the only one cranked up about this event??? This is North Americas chance to kick Europes ass!!! Dominate!!! |

I totallly agree Guy. I mean where the hell is the grippler??? Kudo's to Mark for bringing elite European pullers to Canada. It's gonna be an AWESOME event!!!!

yes it is gonna be a *EPIC* tourny and i HOPE mark gets a great turn out no reason there shouldnt be this is gonna be one hell of a tournament !!!
