I would just like to have an idea of how big , and how strong this class is 155-176, would should i expect when i go to the provincials i have never competed before , is there alot of competetion in my class? i weigh 172 . email me at r3gan89@hotmail.com please!

Here are the classes that will be offered Saturday...
Right and Left hand divisions in the following weight classes
0-154lbs 155-176lbs 177-198lbs 199-242lbs 243lbs+ Ladies 0-143lbs Ladies 144lbs+
Masters (40 years of age or older)
0-176lbs 177-220lbs 221lbs+ Ladies Open

So, Regan, you would be pulling in the 155-176lb class. That is a class that will have some very tough pullers in it. But, there are awards to top 5.

My guess would be between 6 and 9 pulls to win the 176 class.

It will be a great event to see the diversity if its your first time then pull a regular event next and you will have a good veiw of the sport that alot don't or have not gotten hope to see you there..

You are guaranteed atleast two matches (you have to lose twice to be eliminated). Good Luck!

I hope you read this Regan don't be discouraged by the level of pullers at Provincials it was my first provincial also but I have been pulling for about 9 months and the level of pullers changes for every event. There were not many new pullers there for you to be able to gauge so hit a reg event now and you will see the difference. Also just like me you also hit the luck of the draw if we had of maybe matched on the B side you may have had a fair pull with me or won..

thanks for encouragement i plan on hitting up some regular events , i thought that the provincials was a regular event ? are there any more this year? i live in lindsay and im lookin g for a team to help me out a bit, at the provincials it was my first time ever using a table ! if you know of any team around the area please let me know ! thankyou

Regan we are in Buckhorn. You are more than welcome to come to practice with us. We get together Sunday at 2 pm. Let me know and I can get you an address. You are not far away at all. We have guys from Norwood, Peterborough, Cannington, Omemee, all over attend. Guy
