Ok, here it is. Trophies, Cash, Prizes for kids and a decent cash overall right, at the end. Marmora Fair Armwrestling Challenge Sunday, September/5/2010 at the Marmora Fair grounds
Weigh-Ins and registration 10:00-12:00pm
1st arm free with entry to fair, $5 adults, kids 12 & under free 2nd or additional arm for anyone pulling up weight classes is $10 Kids tournament(free) starts at 12:00am Adult to follow
Weight classes Mens right & Left
0 - 176lb 177 - 220lb 221 & up Women's open Right & Left
Trophies and cash for all weight classes Mens & Women's 1st place- $100 2nd place- $50 3rd place- $20 [/color] Now for the cool part Open right hand overall for anyone who competed in the regular part of the tourney. Winner will receive $400More to come on this and maybe some changes. Just trying to get it out there so the people not going to nationals can get a heads up on a cool little tourney that last year went over well with a small turnout, given only two days notice was a lot of fun. If this goes over well with a good turnout, prize money for both weight classes and round robin will be increased. sorry i cant make it big tony but i like how first arm is free with entry into the fair sounds like an incredible way to get new pullers started

Hey Bill, The venue will be at the Marmora fairgrounds just off hwy #7 40 mins east of peterborough and 40 mins north of Belleville.

Yes, I was asked earlier in the year to do this event. I put in a proposal of what I thought you guys would like ( trophies & cash ). The fair board agreed to everything I asked for. The only thing I would like different would be more weight classes but it's a start. Looking forward to seeing you there I don't believe we have met yet.

I like the weight classes that way i can sneek in under 220 HE HE.

Just a reminder to anyone who plans to come to The Marmora Tournament Sunday September 5th. I will be there at 10:00am. Big Joe gave me an interesting thought, what if Crazy George or big Rick H show up?  ?? I have not heard from either man on comming or not but it sure would make it a little more interesting.
