For over 25 years there has been arm wrestling at the Stratford Fair. Unfortunately that has come to an end. The Fair Board has made the decision not to have arm wrestling anymore. I have talked to Murray's wife Isabel and made the decision that it is still very important that we still continue to have this tournament. For anyone who knew Murray will understand that this is the only decision that could be made. I will be holding this tournament on Saturday (not Sunday) September 18th in Woodstock at Good Time Charlies. I will only be charging $10.00 for entry fee and using the same classes that have always been used. I am hoping that the having the competition on Saturday instead of Sunday will help draw competitors to come remember and reminisce about our friend Murray. I will be posting all the info on the Upcoming Tournament page.

Mark to date I have not been able to make this tourney, but especially this year being the recipient of an award in honour of Murray himself, was looking forward to attending. Quebec is that same day and I as well as our team have committed to it already with hotel rooms and such. Is there any way you can have this on another day??? I am not trying to be a jerk about it at all. I really want to hit this one. I hate dilemmas!!!

For you Guy no problem. There should be some perks to winning the award.
