The rankings are an attempt to list the top active competitors in each class. Basically, it's an estimation of who would finish first, second, third, etc. in a class if a large tournament was held in the near future and all active pullers were in attendance. To be considered, a puller must have competed in an event in the past 12 months. The best way to climb the rankings is to consistently beat pullers who are ranked ahead.

O k that being said, how is Braiden ranked ahead of me then? He has never beat me? or Shauna White being ranked above Tanya, i believe she had a very nice win over Shauna in woodstock.

The rankings are modified primarily based on posted results. The Woodstock results show the top five in each class. Braden won the 154 class, and you took fourth. Your two losses came from pullers who didn't do as well as Braden, so even though you didn't pull Braden, I feel justified in updating the rankings so that he is ranked ahead of you. As for Tanya and Shauna, I wasn't aware of this match (I wasn't there) and neither of them placed in the top five. I didn't even know there were in that class. I am limited by the information I find. Now that I am aware that Tanya beat Shauna, I will consider this information. However, it would be helpful to know who Tanya and Shauna beat and lost to in their other matches.
If anyone ever thinks the rankings are wrong, either contact me with the reasons why you feel this way, or post your reasoning on the board. Only with more complete information will the rankings improve.

Eric needs COMPLETE results (preferably the complete drawsheets) to produce accurate stats. By knowing only the top 5 finishers (in quite possibly a 15-entry class) - he is missing a lot of into. A favoured puller might have gone two-and-out and Eric wouldn't know about it.

I try to consider everything when I update the rankings – tournament standings, match results, etc. – however it can’t be done perfectly with incomplete data. I can confirm that recent results hold more importance than results from several months ago. I will never achieve universal agreement with these rankings. Hopefully, if anyone is dissatisfied with where they are ranked, it will serve as motivation for them to train and improve to show that the rankings are incorrect.

Hey Eric- for the sake of accuracy, could you please drop my right arm ranking from the Ontario list- it's been screwed since last Jan, and I see a lot of dudes below my spot that would just crush me right now. However, my left is so scary right now, Freddy Kruger is having nightmares about it...hah. Thanks Jeff
