Since it's now less than 10 months away, I've posted the basic details surrounding the 2011 Canadian Championships in the Upcoming Events section.
The number of active pullers in Ontario and Quebec has increased significantly over the past few years, many of whom have never competed in a national championship. With Ottawa's location on the border of these two provinces, a large turnout is expected.
There are a number of kids tournaments held in eastern Ontario in the months leading up to the Nationals (Gloucester Fair, Canada Day in Wellington, Brockville Ribfest) where we will be heavily promoting the youth classes. We hope to have lots of kids competing at the Canadians.
If at all possible, please try to stay Sunday night for the after party, as there will be lots going on, the details of which will be released throughout the year.

That's correct, you just need to compete at the Provincials. July 16th in Belleville.
