I have recently been able to identify my weakness and it's hand / wrist strength. My wrists and hands are probably stronger than the average Joe, but compared to my forearms and arms, they are quite weak.
What do you guys think is the best way to get super strong wrists and hands? I need a routine to do twice a week (if possible) Obviously I'm looking for something to do in addition to table time.

Don't u train with Rick? Twice a week, working against his hand(at an intense level) is ideal. If u got enough in ur hand the next day, u haven't worked hard enough on table. The day u can contain his hand (somewhat) your at the highest level. My advice is to work towards that goal. I would. Otherwise, attending a high hooker practice would be very beneficial. (NOT BEING SARCASTIC).

Grips all the time , in your spare time for your hand , you won't even thimk about it when your driving or watchind tv . and reverse them for thumb and little finger . And curl your wrist in and out while your doing them , and then get a heavyier pair as they wear out, they get weak pretty quick .

I have the heavy grips...I can close the 100, 150, 200, 250 all pretty easily. I can almost close the 300. Still, I feel they haven't really improved my hand strength.

Lighter grippers for like 5 min. per hand as Dave and Rob said and Wrist Roller is 1 of my favourite things and pull ups with added weight with close grip doing drop sets and standing wrist curls HEAVY! I'll show you my version of standing wrist curls next time we train. Pinch Grip lifting helps too especially with top roll.

Bilal -- Curling your wrist in and out with gripper will only improve your finger strength as you curl your wrist your fingers automatically tend to open. It is a good exercise but not necessarily for your wrist. However, I agree with statements made by Jeff and Chris. You should be doing heavy wrist curls with thick grip and a lot of table time...Aydin

When you turn your wrist in and out while gripping it's working all positions in hand and wrist , and I wasn't saying 5 min. in spare time hang on to them all night , it gives a constant flex right back to the elbow , in out up down , every way you can move , squeeze and release on each movenent and then reverse the direction , hand and wrist name of the game , How often does anyone take Georges hand or roll his wrist?

Bilal I do not have much advice to give you as I am still learning myself, but If you go on Youtube and type in Espey's gym he walks you trough an array of different hand and wrist exercises and explains how each one is benefical to the armwrestling sport. Very informative. One tip I do have, that I have found very effective so far is to take a rolling thunder handle (I'm sure you have heard of it.) attach it to something upside down and do chin ups on it & static holds keeping your "V". Very effective for keeping your "cup" at the table & strengthening your tendons with the help of the 2" handle. Or so I've found.
