I would just like to take a moment to thank Mike for putting on such a great event. It was my first time attending the MGC and I look forward to next year. I am fairly new into the sport and have quickly learned how caring and helpful the arm wrestling community is. I didn't know very many people but I was surrounded by people who were concerned and offering to help me in any way necessary. My arm is doing well, it was a clean break, but the jury is still out on whether or not I need surgery. I will be back at the table as soon as I can. I am sure that I will see you all again at upcoming tournaments. Ashley I hope you arm heals quickly.

Thanks for making the trip Mark. You pulled very well in a super-stacked 154 class.

Bilal, I'll quote a famous weightlifter of his time, Paul Anderson:
"Strength is not gained overnight, it's cultured over time."
The same type of ideology applies to armwrestling. Some of the guys on this board have been armwrestling for YEARS. They have built up their tendons and strengthened their hand and wrist with exercises that may seem odd to a weightlifter. Moreover, they are constantly trying to perfect their technique.
What I am trying to say is that, be patient, train at the table, hone in on the techniques you think are good for you and always have a good attitude!!
