Work changed my shifts up. At the moment, no longer working 12's but now 8's. Before, working 12's gave me days off in the middle of the week and I had to work every 2nd weekend. Now, with 8's, I'm working Mon-Fri and can only make it to practice during the week on every 3rd week. But, weekends are free.
I'll try my hardest to make the practices I can (work permitting).

It's ok, john. Just go with it. This may shock and amaze you, but do you realize that The Promise was a name I gave to Daylan's move . In time, he became the Promise. It's a natural phenomena in language, referred to as semantic shift, whereby the meaning of a word changes from, but is still related to the original one. Like Bruschetta. It was originally a term for bread toasted over coals. Of course it would be topped with garlic, tomatoes, basil and olive oil. Nowadays, you see "bruschetta" in cans- and it's just the topping for the bruschetta. Just let it run its course and enjoy the wonderful ride of linguistic evolution. It may take some reflection, John, but many of us already share the conviction that you may very well be "The Can Opener". jp

ok Mr. Penney
you take yer fancie book lernin' sumwherese else.
that fancie bruchetta bread you speak of... can you put penut buttr on it? if not then i dun wanna heer 'bout it.
can you dip it in beer? same thin' applies
....
That being said, thank you Jeff. Your post was fun (as always). However I am not the Can Opener, it's just one of my many moves in my dangerous arsenal. Some of which is reserved for you specifically ;D
So be warned Mr. Penney. There is a move with your name on it as well. I'm very mucn looking forward to seeing if my research and training is paying off.
Until next time oh insightful one

For me? I'm both flattered and nervous. You can call it the Penney pincher, maybe?

You should be flattered Jeff. To be in a position where guys are training just for you would be a nice spot to be in. You have everyones respect both on and off the table.
That being said... one day I will SMASH YOU TO LITTLE BITTY PIECES!!!!!!!
or just lose like I always do against you. Either way, I'm coming for you

Thanks John boy, but I think I few guys have figured out this tired old one-trick pony, like you and Slater. I might have to try a new strategy. Like staying home lol.
