So I may be able to make this practice! If all goes well, I'll be there between 830-9pm and may pull a little. Otherwise, we may just stop in for some food, and then take off soon afterwards. And when I say "we", I mean my band. We're heading to T.O to record some tunes, so there will be no Gobby, Marcel or Sir Floppsalot (aka - Hugh) on this trip!!

BAC Practice
Not too much to report.
Who was there?
Joe Gould The Promise The Golden Boy
I left at 9:50pm. It's hard to stick around that (dead) bar for too long by one's self.
My arms are smoked,(?), right now anyway. I worked my tri's this week and I'm still recovering. It's brutal.
I think we will try to set up an in-club round robin, for ranking, featuring the current 5th and lower ranked pullers. The best time for this, I think, is the week after the Western Ontario Championships. It will be free to enter, I will ref, and we will try to get prizes and whatnot. Eventually we could set up a ranking round robin for the top 4 too.
Speaking of the Western Ontario Championships, I want to go, but I may or may not pull. I know Goldfarb wants to go if he gets a ride. Lets send the biggest team we can.

There is a good poll at the top of this thread. It's interesting - Daylan is the favorite to win at this point.
By the way, my arms are still "wrecked" - out of commision.

I think Goldfarb might take this.

Now you never mentioned what arm the round robin or the poll is for ......? Realistically i think it should be for both, pull a right handed r/r then do a left handed r/r that would be sweet

Sorry I wasn't able to make this. As it turned out, things didn't go as planned.
We went to T.O, but arrived very very late. Hopefully next time things will work out for the better!!

BAC Practice - Thursday Oct. 23[glow=green,2,300]Chris Armstrong Dave Ferguson Tony Brooks Daylan Thomas Joe Gould[/glow]This was one of the best practices of the year in my opinion. I had several super tough pulls with everyone. Tony and I pulled till 11:45, what a work out. We quit because the (dead) bar was closing (early). It was great to catch up with my old pal, Chris "the original outcast" Armstrong. His left feels like it has championships in it. If only he could pull with the BAC a little more often. I want to pull again on either Sunday or Monday. Probably Monday. But on the other hand, maybe Saturday. By the way, Daylan is leading the way on the pole on the top of this thread. Vote!!! Is there no love for Drumm?

John, that would be great if you make it out to practice this week. We'll tear it up!
I had posted that this would be a good week for a ranking round robin. Well, I think next week might be better. I know Jeremy works this week but is off next week. Any thoughts?
Offtopic, I just purchased a weightlifting unit! It has a high lat pull down and a low row pulley. I think it's going to help me out a lot. I am very pleased to get this.
Congrats to Dave Drumm, representin the Belleville Club with a second in the 243+ left this weekend at the Western Ontario's.
