You know the rankings are just what there are and they change all the time due to tournaments or inactivity so you really are not sure with where you will be placed but I will agree that there's no way you should be 13th ;D

I'd love to, but I don't know all of these people! Why do people that have NEVER beaten me remain higher than me?

Hey Rob, dont worry about it. If you dont agree with these rankings just ask Eric to pull you off the list like I did. These rankings are fun for some and as long as people show interest, then it will keep on going. Deep down you know who you can beat at the table and they know who they are so just leave at that. Cant wait to see you again man,

I'm with you on this one Conrad . I had my name removed from this thing years a go. i think it's just in place to boost the egos of the East Enders.

Doing the rankings is not an exact science. It is possible for a puller to be ranked ahead of another puller that he has never beaten, assuming he has beaten another puller who is ranked ahead of that puller. No one has pulled every other puller in their class, so assumptions do need to be made. Everyone is also familiar with the Puller A beats Puller B, Puller B beats Puller C, Puller C beats Puller A scenario, so it's not always crystal clear.
My preference would be to consider all pullers, as by excluding some pullers it dilutes the overall quality of the rankings.

I think there would be huge egos even without rankings, Bill lol. How can you tell if an armwrestler is bragging? answer: his lips are moving.

I think the rankings are more of just a guideline, They aren't the be all and end all of armwrestling. But it is fun to watch your name move up on the list, you know if your training and go to tournaments. It's a tough job to keep up on the rankings and if people can think of a better way to do it they should give input instead of complaining. We all want the sport to grow and become what it should have been a long time ago. If we all did what we could to take steps in that direction we would be there. I think the rankings help get and keep people interested in the sport. Besides everyone needs an ego boost even the guys at the top of the rankings, what did you call them Bill? Eastenders....lol
Thanks for listening to me rant for a bit, not sure wear that came from.

Now I know why Bill and Conrad wanted their names removed from these rankings! I don't think the problem here is just an east vs. west thing, I think it's more of a new vs. old thing! Maybe one day I'll learn to take the high road like them, but until that day comes; I refuse to go away quietly! Eric, how do you justify ranking Bill Cameron above me when I beat the man that beat him! Bill Lougheed just beat Bill Cameron right handed at the Western Ontario Championships. Then I beat Bill Lougheed in the following match! And how do you justify ranking Jay Riehle ahead of me on the left! he has NEVER beaten me at a tournament, or on a practice table! If challenging higher ranked pullers to a supermatch is the only way to move up in the rankings, then so be it! I am prepared to put to put my money where my mouth is and prove your rankings are B.S.!!!

The reason that Bill Cameron is ranked ahead is that he had a right handed supermatch with Shea before the tournament. This definitely takes a toll on the arm, and matches that take place later in the day during the regular tournament have less of an effect on the rankings. He got one win over Shea, and he also won the 242 right hand class at the Carrot Festival tournament, where Bill Lougheed finished in fourth. I have to consider all of this when adjusting rankings.
As for the left, Jay is ahead of you because he placed higher at the Golden Horseshoe Championships earlier this year. Arguments can certainly be made why you should be ranked ahead of him. Jay will drop off the rankings soon enough, as he hasn't been active.
Rather than say that the rankings are BS, it would be more helpful if you stated what it is you think is wrong with them, as well as why you feel this way. They aren't perfect, and you can perhaps convince me to change them if I agree with your points.
Because the rankings can't be perfect, no one should fret about their exact position (within one or two spots). However, if you think something is way off (5+ spots), definitely let me know.
I really don't feel there is any regional or experience bias in these rankings. If you look closely you will see a wide mix of old and new pullers, dispersed across the province.
All tournaments/matches are considered when adjusting the rankings, as well as a lot of other less tangible factors. One-on-one supermatches are best, however, to determine how two pullers rank against one another.
The rankings are intended to be fun and encourage competition -- please try to not take offense if you don't like the way a particular puller is ranked.
