Hey Chris,
The Canadian rankings for 242 left do not reflect what you have posted for the Ontario rankings.
You forgot Mike Gould on the North American Unlimited.

To whom it may concern: Please remove my name from the rankings. If my name is not removed immediately I WILL seek legal representation! Thanks Rob Hancock

Have your way Chris! You're using my name without my permission and I am now seeking legal representation to have my name removed from the rankings. How do you think you can accurately rank people in a province you don't live in? You don't even attend our provincial championships and your rankings reflect this. If you attended our tournaments you would know that that many of the people on your list have been inactive for years while some of our current provincial champions aren't on the rankings. Eg. Wayne Wilson pulled 1 tournament almost 2 years ago and he's still on the rankings.

You seem serious so I looked into it. Apparently 65% of all civil court trials have to do with honest opinions of regional ArmWrestling rankings lists... I recall L.A Law covered it in a dozen episodes. Maybe you can get Johnny Cochrane (pro bono). d**n... I just used "Johnny Cochrane's" name without permission.
I recently removed Eaton & Penny from the list. I didn't realize their was another. One does not need to be present at a tournament to rank accurately. Should I have attended the B.C provincials in order to make the adjustments?

There has to be a way to make Rob happy while keeping the integrity of the rankings. I'm surprised that there is not even an open discussion about it. Not only that but I'm kinda surprised at the taunting toward Rob.
I don't think the Segal video was appropriate. Rob has armwrestled for several years and continues to support events (with his entire family competing when all classes are offered) and I think he deserves more respect than that.
I don't know who is right in this argument (removal of the name) and I don't really have an opinion either way. I can see merits to both sides but we should at least try to keep it respectful.
Rob has paid his dues and still is. Regardless if one likes him or not he deserves his earned respect.

I agree with Rob. It has nothing to do with the accuracy of the rankings. It is simply that someones name is posted somewhere and that person feels uncomfortable with it being there and has the right to have it removed.

And if it isn't removed his and his family's support of the sport will likely be reduced ,theres not enough pullers now or suport of this sport. Do we really want to piss competitor's off? I doubt promoters would like it .There is way too little in the west now. Why do you think Al didn't post the results from the western's ? But Eric think's everything is hunky dory ,but it's not .

He has the right to ask for it to be removed. We are NOT obliged legally or ethically to do so. Rankings are essentially an individuals opinion based on results & video footage. For example.....
My personal top list of people that post ridiculous and statements online. #1- Joey Costello, #2- rob handcock. That is all.
Now good luck convincing me or a court of law that I do not have the right to express opinion online.

I'll mull this over and probably make a poll tomorrow to see how everybody thinks in terms of altering the rankings to suit individual needs.
