John, this is pretty legit training for endurance and would probably hit the tendons because it's creates a sensation of "burning" and it really help create a feeling of fascia stretching.
However, to be perfectly honest, Michael must be doing something else to get arms this big, because in the world of weight lifting, this is "extreme: over-training and is counter productive to building mass on those arms.
How in the heck did he gets arms that big on a routine like this is what I'd like to know??

This is great stuff. What kind of weights were you throwin? Askin cause I like the routine. Bilal, Mike is a trainer so I am sure this is just one of a million routines he plays with. More endurance specific.

I don't know the weights guy. I was just trying to get outta there. It hurt like hell ;D
Bilal, as Guy said Mike is a personal trainer and has been a gym guy for years. He's done modelling for magazines, TV commercials, you name it. He is also 270 lbs right now at about 6ft 3 I think. It was inspiring to get in the gym with him.

Thanks Bilal.
Just a note. I don't train like this typically but I think Michael does use this for his AW rehab.
I do similar things to flush my arms the day after practice but not to this intensity. I will typically do more reps but will add forearm exercises and it might take 25 mins instead of 10.

Very intense. But not ideal for aw training if it's your main routine.

My forearm routine varies depending on soreness from practice and my outer elbow.
I always do behind the back wrist curls. I occasionally do hammers but I limit them because if I do too many my elbows flair up. Sets and reps vary just so I can keep it "new".
It's not too exciting really, mostly rehab stuff. My strength comes from table practices and my rehab (generally) comes from my gym time.

Primary is heavy d bell partial curls. Secondary would be standard b building stuff. Mixed with plenty of recovery theropy for joint health. Agreed... John's forearms are ridiculous!!

I have big forearms because I life heavy weights...very heavy weights, but I just recently started working out my forearms directly. This will help, thanks!
